XDA 11 Red light problem

All assistance greatly appreciated.
In the morning my XDA11 was working fine. I then plug it in to my car charger as I have done countless time only to find my XDA dead to the world.

When I got home I put in to the cradle but no joy I then plug the power source directly in to the XDA and a red little appeared in the right hand corner but this only lasted a short time and went.
Now my XDA11 lies dead does any one have t any though on what I could be wrong or how to repair.. No warranty left

Does your charger have the facility to charge a spare battery, try putting the battery in there, if it charges up ok I would suspect the charging circuit.

my charge works OK with a spare compartment for an extra battery and work fine will my friends XDA.

I recently had same problem - one minute my fully charged XDA2 was working fine, 20 minutes later and it was dead, no lights, no nothing.

I took the battery out, reinserted it, still nothing. Left it overnight and then when I plugged it direct into the charger (not the cradle) it lit up and hard reset itself.

Two weeks later and it's been fine since.
