Sandisk Extreme III SD Card Compatibility?

Can anybody let me know if the Sandisk Extreme III SD Card (1GB) is compatible with the XDA2 (Himalaya).

If so, is this a good card to get?

Are their any good alternatives with speeds comparable to the Sandisk Extreme III series (x133)?

Thanks for the reply Pope but are u also telling me no one can recommend a good alternative SD card either? the cards i have are really C##P (slow) and i want a fast one. im really surprised i havent got any recommendations! :(
