unlock ext rom in magician

i just upgraded my mini to the qtek 1.11 rom

but

dont know how to unlock the ext rom

The ext rom will unlock when applied to a specific amount of heat.
Get a candle, light it. Hold your Magician for exactly 2 seconds over the tip of the flame. The location is right between the camera lens and the mirror, this is where the ext rom is located under the case.

You are right, but in the end this is "XDA-Developers" and not "XDA-Total-Noobs-cant-search-board"

Many things in this forum could lead to lock up the device, because some newbie dont understand things, when applying ROMs etc.

I flashed it with 3 nbfs.

There is a thread in the BA upgrade forum about a new tool which allows you to create the ext rom nbf out of files and splash screens.

This forum is for beginners and experience users. I guess everyone here has some technical knowledge of tweaking PPCs and are aware of the dangers of performing said tweaks.

Due to the lack of support from the official distributors, users have the advantage of upgrading their units via this forum, if not it the unit would just turn into a brick - a very expensive brick. My case is a very good example. I bought my unit 2 weeks ago from a shop here in Switzerland, but it turns out its not an official sales partner of Qtek Schweiz therefore I cannot get any firmware upgrades from Qtek.
