Greetings,
If anyone has any suggestions regarding this problem, I'd greatly appreciate it. I've tried a number of hard resets and configurations but I always end up with the same problem!
The problem:
Once iGuidance is configured to use my bluetooth GPS device on com5, the iMate hangs. From this point on, iGuidance hangs the OS every time it is launched (well right after the safety warning dialog...). I have to soft-reset.
My setup:
-iGuidance version 2.1.1
-iMate is running official iMate rom 1.72.00WWE (WM2003)
-GPS is Holux GPSlim236 via bluetooth SPP on com5.
-Installation is done via ActiveSync 3.7.1.
Things I have tried:
-verified that GPS works using Holux GpsViewer software
-configure iGuidance GPS port manually
-allow iGuidance to autodetect GPS port
-install after hard reset. Installation attemps via IR and USB...
-load maps from main memory
-load maps from sd card
-manually run 'findgps' in iNav folder and then launch iGuidance.
