xda2 unlock software doesnt go the extra mile for the 2i

the site has been very useful in my step into the PPC world (ori xda2)but i need some assistance to follow the same path for the 2i i would like as with the 2 to remove the active software (found on the site) but also continue to use the vodafone sim as i was able too on the xda2. Can anyone assist with this or do i really have to pay that £30 to the unlock companies????

thanks for the responce yes they were quick and it was easy for info a copy of passport and driving licence is now required for new users of the site to prove identity but a couple of snaps with the pda and they were happy with that.
