Finally a decent (wired) carkit for my Magician is available in the Netherlands now!!! I've pre-ordered it... I'll have it next week. This is the first carkit I've come across... is it me or is it THE first one?

What do you mean by wired? Power, and audio in the cradle?

Well, if you mean the Carcomm, let me dissapoint you: they officially do not support the attached ps2 connector. I do not know why, the shop i bouht it just won't answer any questions about it.
Now i'm looking for the wiring diagram, so i can hook up my (wired) gps receiver.

AFAIK Magician does not support serial connections over the mini USB connector. The only way is to connect GPS via Bluetooth.
I had to sell my serial GPS mouse from my former iPaq 2210.
However I have a Brodit active carkit, it is modified so that the Magician is not only charged, but also has a 2,5mm plug connecting to my car radio's AUX input. Works like a charm.
Cheers
