A friend gave me this phone without a SIM. I am currently with ATT and would like to use. I tried dealing with T-Mobile customer support to get the unlock code, but they said they would not help until my friend was a customer for 90 days. I do not want to wait. The phone stats are:
ROM 4.01.16 ENG
ROM DATE 02/04/04
radio 6.25.02
Protocol version 324e4
When I tried using the method on wiki, it said that I had to be running PPC2002. I assume that means the old ROM. I am not verly technical so I am not sure. I have also seen the software on Ebay for about $25 that claims to do this, but I am not sure I trust them. Any feedback would be appreciated.
