XDA2I on XDA car kit-is it possible

I know the dimensions are slightly different but has anyone tried the above or are the connections completely different. From the pictures i've seen of the car kits they look similar but if the pinouts are different then i will have to get a different car kit.

My new Qtek 2020i both fits and works great with the original hands free + GPS car kit for the "old" Qtek 2020...
