Procedure to upgrade bootloader

Who can explain, the upgrade procedure to substitute Himalaya bootloader with the ones available in .raw files at the wiki ftp server?
Or give a link where it is explained. I didn't succeed to find.

I'm with 1.02. Any advantage or disadvantage for other versions 1.01, 1.03, 1.06.
I read the higher the version, the hardest to downgrade a ROM version. Does someone confirm it?

then if you really want i can post here the exact procedures..

but you need to think a thousand times

just remember

in case guys you downgrade your bootloader and its dead please dont post saying

"HELPPPPP .. my device is DEAD i couldnt even go to BOOTLOADER"

instead go to the nearest service center and let them fix it for you

they will do something like this (its for iPAQ 3600 but you will get the idea)
