Hi friends,
I was very upset since on my today screen, since always there was an Icon covering the Icon of Signal Strength. Which was really annoying? Since sometime inside the buildings you really want to know the strength of Signal….
I tried to uninstall SpB GPRS monitor from Pocket Pc, but twice failed, may be I installed this software in the Extended ROM (Cooked); rather it was giving so much problem and I needed another hard task to reinstall it again.
Now with grace of God I got the Solution.
I changed it through the amendment in registry key as by Resco Registry Editor.
Go on HK Local Machine →→
Software
→Then SpB Software house
→GPRS Monitor
→Showicon
→DWORD Date to Change it to 0 instead 1 and it worked…Thank GODAny other suggestion or negative impact it can give to my software …let's share with me…thank you..

Another way to do this would be to run SPB GPRS Monitor from Programs. Then select Tools/Options/Icon. Where you can change whether the Icon appears or not, and also where on the menu bar it appears.

May be easier than hacking the registry.

Hi Guys,

I downloaded the spb gprs monitor from O2 Connect yesterday, and as soon as I installed it the today screen went bonkers! All the programs work fine, but when I go back to the today screen, it seems to be overlapping. I'm not sure if I'm sending my message across right!

The letters seem to overlap different letters, such that I cant read it.

Can you guys help?

I am very new to the XDA2s, so pls explain in detail. I tried looking at the wiki pages, but there was nothing about this problem.

Try changing the theme of your today screen - should sort out the screen corruption.

Hi

I had sent my XDA2s to O2 before i got the reply here.

i have now got it back from them, installed O2 plus and GPRS monitor (downloaded by O2 connect), and evertyhting works just fine.

They had probably done a hard reset or something. They havent changed any ROM version as am still running the old ROM versions.

Thanks anyway.
