Hello Group

My dveice has the following ROM Ver
ROM Ver. 1.31.00WWE
ROM Date 12/13/04
Radio Ver. 1.02.00
Protocol Ver. 1337.32
ExtROM Ver. 1.31.920WWE

The above version dont have the Truefax whereas I understand the UK version comes with KSE Truefax 2.09.

Is there a way out to upgrade or cook up my ExtROM so as I can have the Fax on my devices.

I am sure there are genius people on the forum to resolve my problem

I have downloaded he Fax......................Cab file and I know how to install the cab file.

Pl advice in which directory should this file be installe and whether a single apllication of fax will work with the ROM ver of my deice

This is going to be a long day is it not?

Locate your .cab file and click on it

It should work on your device, based on the rom version you have.

Fax is a service that your provider either has or has not. So you need to find out if it is supported. And no you cant ask us you need to ask your provider.

Hi i seem to have trouble with this app..seems like it puts my phone into flight mode when sending faxes..and writes no carrier detected..

Please will you advise me how to get serial number for kse truefax 2.0.9.
Before my first hard reset i had this software after that it's run away.
Please help.

Hi Guys,
KSE TF Works fantastically with PPC and PPC Phone devices.I hv been using for about a year and half with AirTel network, in Home as well as roaming networks...

Pls let me know what problems are being faced..will solve it.

Everytime I try to send a fax it goes into flight mode and says no carrier detected.
I used Hutch Delhi. Any clue why it happens.

I have installed KSE Truefax - previously I could send faxes, but after since I did the rom upgrade (1.40) if I want to send a fax I get to the screen where it says Querying modem.... It stays there for +- a minute & then returns to the desktop without sending the fax. I have to soft reset otherwise my pda is very slow.

FYI, I also have ROM 1.40 WWE (O2 Asia version...), and it's working fine for me.
