I really wish to remove the today screen separator lines from WM2003 and I know that these are hard coded to shell32.exe, but I cannot get to shell32.exe in order to hack it. Is the only way to get to it through mkrom, or is there another way. I've tried copying it to a storage card without success and my desktop explorer cannot even see the executable. I've tried to change the attributes of the file and still cannot copy it. Maybe, I'm going about it all wrong. Does anyone know of another way or easier way to get rid of the lines?? :?: :?

I think you can specify the color of the lines in the registry - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Color
don't know which number, but you can look that up in the msdn.

I already knew that (believe it's binary 6 that you have to change and it uses RGB/ BGR. I don't remember which), but it still effects my themes. I would really like to remove them or specify in the shell a transparent color so that they don't show if I don't want them to. :? Thanks for the reply, though.
