never buy xda2i (XDAIIi) from O2 in German

since there is no German Rom available for public if something happens to your ROM your device will be lost, just like mine. You also cannot download and use the xda2i (english) Rom publicisized. Because if you try to flash your O2 XDA2i (from Germany) you will receive country id error.

So dont take the risk and dont buy O2 XDA IIi from Germany

you can replace the upgrade utilities with MAupgradeUT_noid.exe or Change the Country ID of nbfs using alpinenbfdecode.pl (http://nah6.com/~itsme/cvs-xdadevtools/xda2nbftool/alpinenbfdecode.pl) and i think softworks is already working to make EREDIT2003 compatible also with Alpine, then you can bypass the Country ID Error and use any other upgrade for xda2i .. :D

So where can i find these miraculous softwares. There are a lot of people crying out loud in more than 50 forum subjects. The latest news was somebody maneged to change alpine nbf files but since these peoples could not calculate the checksum (whatever it is) they are not able to change country code id.

If you can tell us how to by-pass the country code id error step by step , more than 100 user will be happy.
