Backlight goes out on MDAIII - Help!

Hi all

I've got a T-Mobile MDAIII. I've set the backlight to be always on in both battery and powered situation. However, sometimes the backlight just switches off and when I check the setting all seems okay!

Usually rectified by doing a soft-reset but this is a bit of a pain!

I know it's not a battery issue, just seems to be some sort of bug or fault somewhere.

Any solution/help would be appreciated.

seem to recall that if you hold down the power button for awhile it toggle backlight on and off try that next time and make sure you dont hold it down for too long when you dont want to mess with the backlight
