IDEA Petition (IMATE)

I just got an idea for a petition for Imate. I hope they are not as deaf and arrogant as HP did for no upgrade Windows Mobile 2003 SE for the HP2210.

What my idea accounts for is that, we petition Imate for a Magneto upgrade for our Jam in exchange for us even purchasing a new PDA2K or say some newer product of HTC like the Universal Model perhaps but they would be obligated to provide the upgrade CD for the Jam and that newer model be it Universal or any other newer model.

What say you, if there's any takers could you kick this off.

I'm not spending £400+ on a new device just to get wm5 for my jam!I would petition for it outright as they should really supply this anyway and therefore it would be good cs and help keep all their existing customers onboard,therefore sticking with them and by the time upgrades come there customers will remain loyal!

I don't see how us agreeing to buy a newer model of HTC would convince HTC to supply an upgrade for the Magician. Your logic seems fundamentally flawed.

If you're that willing to buy a new HTC, why do you want an upgrade for the Magician? Madness.

:idea: I agreed with the petition but that of me paying for the wm2005 s/w upgrade rather than buying a new HTC device.

Fundamentally Imate or any other 3rd Party brand are not liable to supply Magneto because it's NOT THEIR STRATEGY.

This idea petition is something out of the blue to encourage them to budge and give us the Magneto, I'm willing to buy another HTC with Magneto but I would also keep my Magician and would be happier if it's also Magneto.

Now if you feel that HTC or Imate or Qtek really has an obligation to upgrade your units to Magneto without any compensation to them or merely selling the upgrade would just be PIRATED outright then your fundamentals are really FLAWED or your just DON'T HAVE ANY BUSINESS SENSE AT ALL :x
