Unable to reload software after hard reset. HELP!!!!

My SD card jammed for some reason and caused a hard reset of my m2000 as well as total data loss on the card itself.

Now whenever I try to reload some of my medical software back onto the SD card it says "will load software when device next connects" or "error - device not connected"

I have activesync 4.0 and can sync all my contacts etc and the sd card works fine and will take other programs (eg spb weather).

So far I have tried:
1) Deleting the partnership and restarting
2) Another hard reset
3) Reinstalling activesync (yes i did delete all the files manually as well)
4) A hard reset AND reinstalling activesync.

try uninstalling and reinstalling the medical s/w, that might help

No luck there. I still get this stupid message telling me the device isnt connected when it is SAT THERE IN THE CRADLE!!!!!

Any other ideas anyone?
