Guys,
Bought an australian O2 MINI from a friend of mine. BAck in Holland, one moment I do have a GSM signal....the other moment I don't.
My other phone, with the dutch VODAFONE has a 80% reception.
It's very hard to regain the QTEK GSM signal. Sometimes turning on and off the flightmode works, sometimes not. Even putting the newest QTEK S100 ROM doesn't.
When I do have a signal I ,fast as hack, mark the VODAFONE provider thingy and unmark all the asian pacific providers. I even permanently store my settings. A few minutes later, the reception is gone, Just when lying on my desk or driving in Amsterdam, the Vodafone Preferred network is gone and even the unmarked networks are marked again..but NO vodafone signal.
Is it beacause of a hardware problem ? Or when it looses the Dutch Vodafone signal, it only looks for the Pre-defined networks or what....
When I do know how to work with SMD...is it possible for me to repair ?
Hope someone can help
