Hi all users of Xda IIi,

can tell me at FULL charge (100% on MAIN battery bar) what is the battery time meter reading on your main screen (TODAY)? 3hrs? 4hrs? 5hrs?

We bought two exact same model last Sunday. At full charge, SET 1 shows 5hrs and 20++mins and SET 2 shows only 3hrs and 59mins. Both were hard reset to default setting (that means, all wifi, GPRS, infra off and same LCD brightness).

Sounds like a battery problem, so we switch the battery across and the reading shows the same result despite the battery switch. (SET 2 still only have 3hrs ++)

Set 2 also seem to have weaker Wifi signal and the LCD screen of Set 2 is warmer than Set 1.

Set 2 is already been one to one exchange once by Starhub (the previous set don't have this warmer LCD screen problem).

Please advise. I will be going down to Starhub (our Telephone service provider again later... so I would appreciate if someone can quickly reply to this.

Thanks
Vincent

Its pretty obvious that the 2nd one is faulty, just take it back and demand an exchange, i doubt they will mind too much especially with the evidence you have.

There have been a couple of people with almost the same situation as you and im sure they had theirs replaced too :)

what's the software you're using?

battery pack pro tells me 2h30m, but SPB tells me 6 hours. I figure the 6 hours is the correct estimative. I've been playing mp3s for 3 straight hours now, and the battery is at 65%.

of course, if you're using the same software in both of them, what I just said doesn't matter for the subject in question...
