I am in US. Bought O2XDAIIS out of Hong Kong in Dec '05. I have a recurring problem where the isp password automatically changes itself on my phone. I am using cingular wireless in the USA. Here is what happens, the settings according to cingular are to be:
isp.cingular is the APN
ISP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
CINGULAR1 is the password
The password automatically resets to a 16 digit password (password protected so I do not know what it is)
Even after I manually reenter the correct cingular password and immediately recheck the settings, it still will show the 16 digit password versus the 9 digit password that I just entered.
Is there a procedure to get into my phone and remove this 16 digit password. I am assuming it is some sort of settings preset.
Thanks for the help in advance

Hate to be a "me too" kinda guy.......but "me too"! If I do a soft reset,it works again for a while.
I am using a PDA2K, and am wondering if it might be in my CE4arab customization cab in the ext rom!I don't know what else is in there,so I am afraid to just remove it.
I am going to try calling level 2 support at Cingular. I will post back later.
Later.......

go programs
then autoconfig
and uncheck the "I want to do auto configuration now" box
it seemsto recheck itself from time to time, but unchecking it solves the problem
