Well I applied the patch and it worked for a while last night then wouldn't connect. Did a soft reset and let it sit/poll my office email overnight and it was fine this morning. Switched my SIM to my MPx220 during the day and back to the JAM this evening. Since switching it back to the JAM, I haven't had the connect errors. It seems to me the patch did help to some extent. Before applying, it would get the error constantly, even after performing a soft reset. It still may not be perfect, but it is better, at least for me. My only complaint now is that the GSM signal really seems to jump up/down all the time. And when placing a call with full bars causes it to drop to two. Almost as bad as my Nextel phone. Oh well, guess I'll keep tinkering with it. Hopefully there will be another major update soon.

You "complained" in the above message about the GSM signal jumping up and down. Did you resolve the problem ? I have my XDA mini for a couple of weeks now (second hand) and I have the same problem. It drives me nuts. When I am able to make a call, the GSM signal often drops to null..even in a city area.
In a few days it will be the famous presse papier as far as i'm concerned :cry:
