My first question was can i change the Today menu on the main screen? Dont really need most of the things it's giving me options for but can't figure out how to get rid of them.
Also is there a way to access the sync'ed contacts to type in my contacts the PC instead on the phone?
thanks for any help!

if you go into settings pick today
click on the panel called items you can uncleck the ones you dont want
the whole purpos of sync is that you can type in all your contacts in outlook if you dont have them there already and then when you sync your pda the contacts are sendt to the pda

there must have been something wrong with my install then coz I dont seem to be able to open outlook. I usually use outlook express (chose it over outlook for it's newsgroup features) and when I installed outlook 2000 from the CD it didn't seem to add anything to the start menu or anything and I figured it wasn't the actual programme that was installed.
I'll go back later and see if I can get it to install again.
Thanks for the Today menu help, worked great!
