Is a new magician coming out?

I'm about to buy magician, or Qtek S100 as it's called in Sweden.
But I heard that a new one is going to be released in autumn or some such? An upgrade of magician with the new operatingsystem or something?

I'm not sure how reliable this information is.. I was recommended to ask you guys :-)

Do you know anything of this?

It's an HTC Universal. Much better and windows Mobile 5!
Plus it's a 3G GSM

the replacement for the magician is actually the htc wizard.there's pics and specs of this on various threads of this site

The HTC Universal is the one with a keyboard, right?
It's way too big for my uses, plus I don't need the keyboard. Too cumbersome unfortunately.

I will look into the Wizard, does it have 3G?

yeah.they both have a keyboard but the universal is the big bulky one!the wizard is roughly the same size as the magician but a little thicker as it has a keyboard that slides out the side that can be used when in landscape mode.it also has wm5 and built in wifi.worth waiting for IF the keyboard isn't as flimsy as on the xda2s where after some use it used to always slide out!

I'm really very interested in the HTC Wizard (Qtek 9100) after doing some research on it, it seems like it will incorporate EDGE
which will allow it to connect with 384kbps speed (Whether it will be 3G-classified depends on the class of EDGE, but anyhow it will have 384kbps)

About the keyboard.. I read at some site that a guy had a problem with the keyboard sliding out when he had it in his pocket :cry:

I really hope this won't be an issue. I will go ahead and buy the HTC Wizard when it is released in September/October.

First ther will come a new Magician. Qtek will call ist S110. The only improvement will be more RAM. 128MB will it be.
