[Help] Cant Use ActiveSync After Install WM5

After installing WM5 to my XDA O2 I cant connect my PPC using ActiveSync anymore.

I think it because the driver.. because there is messege

Found New Hardware

Generic RNDIS(PROTOTYPE-Remember tochange idVendor)

Where I can get the driver?
are there another way to fix this?

Did you uninstall the old activesync version before you installed the version 4? it might give you conflict if you didnt.

Got the exact same problem.

Was already using ActiveSync 4 with my XDA II (WM2003). Upgraded XDA II to WM5 and now when I connect my XDA II to PC by USB I get that 'Generic RNDIS' message.

Have uninstalled/reinstalled ASync 4 but no change. Anyone out there with any other suggestions please?

hi,

if you get this 'generic rndis' thing, pls check if you have microsoft service pack 2 (SP 2) installed in your XP Home. if your in XP Professional, you most probably have SP2 installed already.
