OKay here is the situation.....
I have wm2005 1.60b96 (buzz build) on a M1000. running tomtom 5. Everything is running fine, so i thought i'd borrow my friends BT GPS receiver and give it a go. (You know the ones that are 49 quid on ebay)
What i did was pair the gps with my device, fine, renamed it to TomTom Wireless GPS and ticked the serial port box.
I then when into bt serial ports and attempted to setup the ports 5 and 6 for incoming and outgoing... this is where the first problems started, as i kept getting Serial port not found message...
Eventually i got the ports 4 and 8 bonded with but then tomtom only gives you a choice of like 2 5 7 and 9...
please help, my mate has a spv c500 adn it works fine with his...
i've ran teh patch file to activate com port 5 but this still does not let me select it in the bt serial ports bit...
i am now getting confused so i'll leave it their and see if any of you bright sparks out there can help...
