ActiveSync SLOOOOOW!!!

Why is copying files through activesync so slow compared to copying files onto my SD card through a USB SD Card Reader?

I suspect it has something to do with USB 1.1 and USB 2.0, but the difference is HUGE!!

100MB File

ActiveSync - 1hr 30mins!!
SD Card Reader - 15 seconds!!

Anyone know why?

1 because of usb1.1 vs. 2

2 maybe because all cominication goes across the cpu's interface and never have direct access to the memory like a sdcard reader does

I think you're right about going through the CPU interface, however,
1 hr 30 min vs 15 sec = 160 times difference!!! Incredible.
