well.. it's about 9mm wider and 2.6mm thicker than my xdaII, or pretty much the size of my xdaII in its case. so i don't think it's really that big =)

I think I'll be getting the Wizard, but only if they ship a faster CPU than what has been touted.

Note the caption below the 2nd & 3rd pictures -- it implies the Universal has a 3.5 mm jack, which is somewhat more standard than the 2.5 mm jack used in previous HTC devices.

Does the 3.5 jack mean the output would be compatible say with a aux input for a car stereo? I've always been interested in connecting my phone to my Mini's aux input but given the nature of the XDA2i's jack I never could do it.

I hope the earphone design and cabling is better on the Universal because they're hardly comfortable on the previous models.

I'm still more interested in the Wizard (Jam 2) though. It still have a keyboard and WifI but is much smaller. Easier to use just as a phone. I don't need a VGA quality display. The only downside is it has a slow CPU. The other option I'm considering is the Ipaq 6515, well the 6715 when it is out as that will also have WiFi and WM 5.0 but with the added benefit of GPS as well.

Every day I read something that makes me want this phone even more. I don't care if it's quite big, as someone else said it's only as big as a 2 or 2i with the leather case and I work in an environment where quite a few have XDA's or other PPC mobiles.

My only headache will be finding somewhere to put it in the car. Come on, Brodit...make me happy again.
