Reversed back to a default rington sometime, why?

I use the built-in Photo Contacts to assign ringtones to some of my contacts, using a very small midi file in \windows\rings folder. Most of the time it plays as expected but sometime it reversed back to the default ringtone (also in \windows\rings folder). It always rings right after a softreset. Have any clue?

My guess is because the built in HTC called ID photo contact application has some problem (when it's off you can rerun the application in /Windows/Startup/IA_CID_StartUp)
or Try to use Photo Contacts Pro v3.0, works better for me.

But how can I uninstall the built-in Photo Contact? Or, how can I disable it?
