upgrading xdaIII (qtek 9090 )with italian rom 14004_153_1120

HELP MY QTEK 9090 is totally struck when I eas upgrading I've tryed so many times BUT NOTHINGS HAPPENS!!! I'VE ALWAYS RED ERROR MESSAGE ADN ICAN'T GO BACK!!

CAN ANYBODY HELP ME PLEASE!!

i have any problem like your, what error message you have? win ce image error or anyhink like this?? can you get to bootloader?

1)Take it out off the cradle.
2)Take the battery off, and leave it off for about 20 minuts.
3)Make sure that the USB cable is connected directly to your PC, and not through a HUB.
4)Reboot PC, dont start any programs.
5)Put the battery back on you BA, switch it on and Cradle it
6)Follow instructions in WIKI (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BA_1.40.00_Upgrade)

I've discovered , anso I thank you so much, that exist one italian version only for my qtek 9090 the other one once I've tried it
doesen' t work AGAIN!!, I : was been found the same problem...

Shit, i made a Typo, it should say

It should work with all the roms. (those on the 1.40 link page)

Hi my friend after having succes to upgrade my 9090 in english, no way that italian programs, works I've tried to install italian cab files..but. nothings happens.

then I restarted from zero and that'it..


AND NOW : ERROR 102 THE ROM IMAGE FILE IS CORRUPT !!!

and now what should I do please?? The separated files in(verion in WWE) seems not to work !!!!

Well I am lost now.

You say that you can flash a wwe rom, if so which one.

You say you cant flash the ITA 1.40 rom but you dont tell us how you are trying to flash it.

Best is always to start form the begining.

Get your shipped rom back on the device.
Upgrade the radio .....only
empty out the ext rom....
then falsh the CE...only

and if you need help tell us what you did as it would explain how you got the error message. We have no idea what you are doing thus cant help you much.

The program I've first tried named BA_DT_ITA_14004_153_1120.ship

doesent' work !! So Ive my 9090 completly dead, I've red almost all the instructions but now I really dont'know how to move myself, and I'dont remeber the previuos version because is cancelled.the attemp to update to 1.40; 1.40.153; 1.12.00 always fails
I've tryed many times to run the program above, but the error messge is the same : soft reset and restart....


so really do not be able to

Get your shipped rom back on the device.

empty out the ext rom....
then falsh the CE...only

Ok lets get a wwe 1.40 on your device. (as I am not sure if the ita is Broken)

Follow :

1) Take the IMate rom.
2) Download the rom and the MA file.

On device
1) On your device perform a Hard reset
2) Remove the battery
3) Wait 5 mins
4) Put battery in again

on PC
1) Reboot your PC after download
2) Make sure the cradel is connected to your PC with no hub.
3) Turn on device
4) Place it in cradel

Run the upgrade
chose the:
First Method (Quick/Easy) (TYPE II)

Post what happens

What exe are you runing : Name of that file!

the file name is rom 1.13.00

but in th e italian vrsiona the name is ns and anothe rone is nk

Sorry but I'm not so expert mybe isould try the secon method downloading separate file s..??

There is no file name 1.13.00.exe !

I got to say So many thank to your help my friend !!!

The real probelm was that the file BA_DT_14004_153_1120.SHIP

has in its content a bad file name name colled radio and notihng else if u
change the name collin' it with RADIO.NBF (namely radio.nbf)

EVERYTHING RUN OK!!!!!

I REALLY HAD MY SOAKING WET BUT I 'VE SUCCESS!!!
