radio version

hi all
i have done nothing but read..read..read
i have a camera problem ( have not got it anymore since downgrade)
i was told to solve my problem by upgrading the radio version.
can someone tell me...if i upgrade the radio what does this do exactly.
what are the different radio versions for.
i am trying to get to grips with all this technical data by reading and am now starting to understand it all but there are still a few area`s i`m not sure about.

err... i don't think its got to do anything at all with the radio, afaik radio is for the gsm thingy and nothing to do with the camera, but correct me if i'm wrong. But after every ROM upgrade on my magician, camera results got better and better.

yes, upgraiding radio has nothing to camera, WiFi or bluetooth problems. It only reflashes the GSM-part of the device. Camera app and drivers reside in the main ROM. Updates for camera drivers can be often found in extended ROMs of updates provided by different operators.
The latest ROM is 1.40 version, radio - 1.13, extended ROM - don't remember as I don't use it.
