Hi folks,

I recently bought my XDA IIi here in Germany, assuming that i could change language settings
to english. I am desperate to start using my PDA functionalities asap, but the language is a
continuous hurdle i am having to overcome.

Although, I am an engineer, I really do need a "How to ? Dummies Guide ? Step by Step" solution
to changing all features / programs etc to english.

I would be eternally gratefull for your responce.

Ps. Some of the general settings while having registered are different to my settings, so ive
included all below for your consideration in this matter :

ROM ver : 1.11.01GER
RADIO ver : 1.03.00
EXTROM ver : 1.11.161GER
Protocol-Version : 1337.42

CPU : Intel PXA272 520MHz
RAM : 128M
Flash: 64M[/b]

Reflash to an English ROM version, the files are on this site, search for "update alpine".

Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated !

But the fact remains, i have found the Alpine directories with NO readme or text files taking me through the process
step-by-step.....

I am aprehensive about this whole process as i bought my XDA 2i only a week ago and now, im regretting
it, since i was seriously contemplating flying back to london and buying the damned thing with a contract, that BTW
I wont be using since i live & work in Germany now !

In any case, I am pleading for someone with experience of doing this and an exact guide of the files and procedures required...

Ps. Should i get Insurance on the Phone before? ... the damned thing cost me 300pounds !!!

Thanks in advance for all your help.
