I have downloaded the T-Mobile UK 1.142.112 update to my desktop, uncompressed its contents, etc...
But I got the "Country ID Error".
I have added the line "[CHECKCEID_TYPE]=1" to the RUU.conf file, and ran again the update. Again, i got the "COUNTRY ID ERROR" and the device shown the bootloader screen. Only a hard reset worked but the device is still in french.
This is the info of my Device:
Model No: PH2OB
Minor version Model No: O B
Language Code: FRE (French)
Minor: E
Operator code: DANGA203
ROM Version: 1.22.02
Minor: 0 2
Extended ROM version: 1.22.127
Radio Version 1.06.00
Minor: 06.00

Did you follow this exactly..?

I recommend doing a hard-reset then following the instruction here.. Let me know how you get on..
Finally, remember that running this will default your device to UK Spec T-Mobile settings for MMS, etc.. But, I'm sure there's always a .CAB file you can search for on here that can be added or that someone can send to you!

Yes, I did.
I have tried with BaUpgradeUt and with MaUpgradeUt_noID. Both times, i got the COUNTRY ID ERROR, and the deviced hanged on the bootloader, so I did a hard reset and tried again.
BTW, i prefer to manually change the settings from T-Mobile, that having a device on a language that I hardly understand.

When you got the Country ID Error with the MaUpgradeUt, did you exit the update then click again on the MaUpgradeUt to re-start the Update.. If my memory serves me correctly, it should work the second time..
Let me know what happens..

My device was showing the bootloader screen, and the activesync link was lost :?

As is, I believe, expected.. It does look like you lose the active Sync. This doesn't mean the Upgrade Process has run into problems..
Did you re-click on the MaUpgradeUt (as stated in Wiki)..?
Extract MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe from this file and place it with the other upgrade files.
Run this new exe file instead of BaUpgradeUt.exe to update your rom
If you get an error the first time, run MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe again
I have to say, I really think you need to understand everything in Wiki before you attempt upgrading.. (Link in Signature)

It worked!!
Maybe the wiki should be updated with this info, and many other people won't ask this again
BTW, tomorrow I will test with an spanish ROM.
