My Qtek S100 will not recognise my Sandisk 256mb + wi-fi SD card. It's a bit of a long story....
- The Sandisk card used to work, but now it doesn't (!)
- I have two 2Gb MMC cards which currently work. At one point, the Qtek wouldn't recognise these either.
- Now it does.
- I have dropped the phone a couple of times.....
I've followed all the instructions for installing the wi-fi card from the other threads, i.e. 1) Remove drivers 2) Soft reset 3) install PPC 2003 drivers from Sandisk site 4) Soft reset 5) Insert card.
But on inserting the card, nothing happens. No green LED, no wi-fi symbol at the bottom of the screen. On tapping the Sandisk Wi-Fi icon in connnections, it says "Unable to connect to the Wireless NetCard. Is it inserted?"
In my MMC USB card reader, the Sandisk card operates normally.
So, the question is: must I assume it's a hardware problem, caused by dropping the Qtek?
