unrecorganized USB device

i am using windows XP SP with active sync 3.8

when i connect my Qtek 1010, it says unrecorganized USB device, i could not connect my qtek to PC, how can i fix this problem

i dont have installation CD for my qtek

There is no driver or installation for your phone. What should happen is you install activesync, make sure that usb connection is checked on activesync then soft reset your phone, place in cradle or plug in to usb cable. Xp should indicate "hardware found", it should then say something like "htc sync". Activesync should then launch automatically. I have found that sometimes if plugged into a hub you may get an error and even swapping over to a different usb port can make a difference too.

the error message is

USB Device is Not Recognized
One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it.


i am really new to this, while i was playing with it i think the OS is dead

when i on the qtek it gives blue background saying Qtek

and gives some numbers
G32S54
R3.19.01
3.16.68

and it keeps freezed

how can i fix this problem?
i dont have the ROM image, no cd's
