WM5 Camera FIX

i dunno if this has been covered, but has anyone tried placing the camera.exe from a previous windows into the windows directory???

i would have tried it, but i forgot to copy the file before flashing WM5 to my device.

can someone post camera.exe on here so i can try it???

by the way, WM5 is running smoothly apart from the camera, battery and speed brillient, and i even had the cracked o2 plus working too, BONUS, lol :) :D

camera from 1.40 ROM would not work. It requires different drivers and several additional DLLs that are not present in WM5

As far as I know,Magneto camera is built in the OS,and not in extended ROM as a software like it used to be in SE....so 1.40 is not gonna work,I think...but good luck anyway....

I've replaced WM5 driver and some DLLs from 1.40 ROM so camera is working at least partially

mamaich , are u going to create a patch? is a partially working camera saving images?
