I went through all the reg and deleted all camera entires and you know what, it FIXED it. Now the SX66 has SOUND. I felt like the Mayor of New Orleans for alil bit when no one was giving us any help. But I got it fixed

Remove the entries under:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINEDriversBuiltInCamera]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINEDriversBuiltInCameraDriver]

Attached is file that the master mamaich did for me. just download and run. power off wait 10 sec then soft reset

Thanks buzz, mamaich, and xda-developers.com

I'm going to give it a try... When you think about it, it kinda makes sense. Since the SX66 doesnt have a camera, some how the extra file conflicted with the sound. Maybe the Camera interfaces with the sound api for video recording.

I ll let you know if it works!!!

I went through all the reg and deleted all camera entires and you know what it fixed it. I am attaching an output of my reg. But now the SX66 has sound. I felt like the Mayor of New Orleans for alil bit when no one was giving us any help. But I got it fixed. I need help making a reg file to delete all camera things from the reg driver mainly active driver.

I removed entries below the the following Keys:

HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\camera and HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\CameraDriver

then rebooted.

I'm using the standard Wavedev.dll that came with WM2005.

XDA-Developers, rurda, Buzz, mamich are the greatest!!!!

WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!! I have sound! Great find!!!!!!!!!! Thx!

I removed the the entries under:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\Camera]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\CameraDriver]

And rebooted. Just make sure you press the power button and wait a few sec. Then reboot. This will ensure your settings are applied.
