View Full Version : Tom Tom 5 Probs on Win Mobile 2005

OK my tomtom5 works fine with Win Mobile 2003, I just put the SD Card in and it auto installs. With Win Mobile 2005 I put the card in and the setup exits after 2 secs.

Is there a way round this???

tomtom 5 officially doesnt support wm2005 yet so it cant be garueteed to work

There is an easy fix for this problem, use file explorer on your pda to open the "2577" folder on the storage card an then run each of the four cab files one after the other. Tomtom is then installed and working great.

in my WM2005 device (XDAII), TomTom works but the screen stays dark all the time, everythingn else works ok. It takes a soft reset to fix it, anyone else have same problem or know a fix?
