I hope it is true, but I believe I have been seeing that 7 days number listed on that site for more than a week now.

It's been pretty consistent the last week or so and it's down to "4 days left..."

Well the official release date is the 30th (I believe this was announced on the 20th) up until then Expansys has been randomly changing the date. As far as I'm aware the Qtek 9100 should be available during the first week of October (probably from the 5th).

There's no reason why the 30th shouldn't hold, since GITEX would be over by then (29th) and they are already selling it there. Everything points to a September 30th release... ;)

The thing is, some people are prepared to pay whatever to get the latest phones, so the sellers can put the price up at their own wish early on. Personally it is a rip off and I'll wait until it comes back to a reasonable price. If everyone did this they wouldn't do it in the first place!

Hrm, Smart Devices Direct just put the price of the K-Jam and 9100 up by £10 and £30 pre-tax respectively!. I ordered my Qtek 9100 for £339.00 now its a whopping £379.00!
The K-Jam used to be £399.00 now its £410.00.
(All prices shown pre-tax)
I guess they really are trying to get early adopter's money :(. It doesnt help that eXpansys is still more expensive since everyone compares prices with them... so all other businesses need to do is keep £10-£20 cheaper than eXpansys and people will still buy from them :/

The other problem is the early adopters pay a premium for the phone and it will without doubt have bugs in the software and at some point a ROM update will be available to fix them. So those who wait a little longer get a more stable device with the bugs ironed out at a cheaper price!
