help with xda2i on charge

can anyone help out please
today my xda2i has decieded to start this annoying scream when put on charge has anyone anyidea what causes this and is there a way for me to fix this or will it have to go back to o2 for repairs

Does it scream on both the base charger and the cable charge end? Otherwise I'd take it back.

strangely on on the car side ,& it's been on and off for a while now i had this before because i dropped the pda and they gave me a new 1 ( i made up a story as it was only a day old ) ,so it seems my lying has caught up with me :oops:
but i'll check again in the morning maybe it was having a off day but i doubt it something must be on the way out

my pda is still screaching when on charge in the car only ,any ides what it could be na is it possible to fix

Sounds like it might be one of the pins on the car charger, make sure one isnt bent and short circuiting.

I'd say its possibly shorting with a car kit (sound pin).
