Change T-Mobile Dialer skin to Defult

I love the phone, but that T-Mobile skin for the phone on the Pro is just UGLY!

Has anybody figured out, how to restore the default screen provided by MS?

Or, better yet, figured out how to create and install custom skins.

I've tried doing it the way it worked on the BlueAngel, but WM2005 refures to to overwrite the files.

Maybe hardreset, and dont install the t-mobile stuff from extended rom?

There is an application I think it is called XDAPhoneSkinChooser or something like that....

Install this app. without any skins and u will find a skin called "original skin". Try this, soft reset, and then u have the original skin.

I think also it is possible to uninstall the XDAPhoneSkinChooser then.

Registry Editor:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Phone\Skin
Set "Enabled" to value 0

after a softreset TM is gone.

But the Intelli-Dialer is gone with that.

Maybe you try this file.

I tried to change the bitmap files in the registry.

Try out, you can uninstall if you do not like it.

I am no programmer, for that I do not know to get a background image. Maybe someone can help.

The carrier logo will also be removed.
