The one other thing is can you use the SD card through the XDAIIi as a USB storage on other PC's as I carry my lead and XDA but if the other PC doesn't have active syn you can't domp files down to the PC I currently have to carry a card reader but it would be great if I could just run this straight through the XDA. Any ideas?????????????????

Yes you can do it usin a program called ppcwebcam

more info here http://davesipaq.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5336&page=2&pp=20

if you set it up as default it will take a pic at a preset interval and upload it by gprs to your website, each pic overwriting the last so you get the efect of a webcam. I messed about with the settings so that all the pics stayed on the page http://southerntemplars.com/rally.htm

I havnt tried using it over usb but I believe you can using activesync.

Hope this helps

I'm pretty sure AtekSoft's CoolCamera allows it to be used as a webcam on a PC. Do a google search for it and check the information/manual.
