Hi.
I need help please :-(
yesterday my qtek 9090 was functioning propers, after coming back from the cinema, i noticed that the power button isn't working at all!!. it doesn't power on the qtek 9090!, only way i can turn it on is by doing a softreset. the button also doesn't power it off. I can't even do a hard-reset since when i press the power button and the soft-reset, it only soft-resets (power button has no effect).
So in order to do a hard-reset to check, i pulled out the main battery, and when the backup battery dried up, next time my qtek booted up and starting installing stuff (which means it did hard-reset). But my power button is still dead.
my qtek has taken a couple of falls, but non directly before yesterday, last one was a month ago, and the scratches do show next to the power button.
Has anyone faced this issue? did you get it to work? or should i contact the dealer? . Do you think the dealer would also accept replacing my qtek since scratches are showing on it's body?
Another thing. my qtek is running 1.40 rom which i flashed it to some while ago, how do i flash it back tot he original rom? i see in the upgrade procedure that at the end i have to do a hard-reset after finishing flashing the rom, but my power button doesn't work!. would draining the battery be sufficient?
It's quite an expensive device, I don't want to pay 600 euros for an another!
Thanks.
Fadi.
