Using XDA II with a PC

I was just wondering if there is any software available that allows you to use and control your XDA II via a PC by connecting it with the cradle. Or, is ActivSync the only way? It would be good to be able to save my contacts, sms/mms, notes and loads of other stuff :)

if you mean controllering the xda from the pc then ms have a free tool which let you control the pda

if you mean synch then there are many
