WM5: Out of storage memory, 100 meg program memory!

Can I change the balance between storage memory and program memory? I don't need all that for programs, but I need more for storage!

WM5 installas all programs to FLASH, it only run them in RAM, and you cannot install to RAM.

However: most programs that are not todat-plugins or stay resident, can run perfectly well from storage card (SD).
i run ALL programs from SD, except for these few that are resident..

Thanks, but it's the document storage I need. I have a few SD cards, but there is a lot of stuff I need to have no matter what SD card that's in the reader. Does that mean that I can't use that extra memory?

somebody was talking about the possibility for a RAM-drive - I would suggest you search for that article .. that would fix your problem.

that works, but is only a temperary solution, when you soft reset, you loose everything, i made the mistake of moving all my documents into the folder it created, and when i soft reset, i lost everything, some very very valuble pics i wanted to keep got lost. :cry:
