Hi all,
I would like to know in detail what the three options:
Enable KITL
Clean Registry Hive
Format Storage
do when I hard reset my Himalaya.
Adviced after upgrade are NO,YES,YES.
Can somebody explain, please ?

KITL : Kernel Independant Transport Layer .... to learn more about this , please go to http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/wcedsn40/html/cgconKernelIndependentTransportLayer.asp
Clean Registry Hive : this option is to clean all the registry entries and put the default registry if you set to YES . If NO , registry keys you have adedd or modified are here after reboot
Format Storage : It's to format the internal storage (contactas , calendar ...) if you set to YES . If NO , any data are erased .

I do not get these options when I hard reset my Imate.. (As I have nothing in my extended rom now)..
I have realised that I would like the option to reset my data to defaults when I do a hard reset..
1. What is the name of the program does does the forementioned prompts ?
2. Where does that program come from, or where can it be found ?
