No sound notification for SMS's

Ok did some reading, tried some searching but no luck :cry:

Followed the instructions which have been mentioned numerous times

When I click the play button the sound is there but when I get a "real" sms only the visual notification comes up???

Where am I going wrong :oops:

Ok I've tried a soft reset with no luck.

I'm thinking of trying a full reset, if I have done an xBackup to SD does that keep all my installed programs aswell or just data and settings etc?

Cheers for any thoughts :?
