Hey, i got my XDA2 from eBay so i have no idea which country it was origianly purchased from which is causeing my a problem in which upgrade i should use for my phone...

If i goto O2 Active > My XDA > Connections i get a screen that says 'Select Country' and 3 options to choose from. Germany, Ireland, and UK. Germany is selected and when i try to click UK and click the finish button is says "Setting up the connection... Please Wait" and then resets after a few seconds. When i go back to that page Germany is reselected again so am i to think that this phone was purchased in Germany and its locked to "German" settings even though everything is in English?? :?

Also below it is a 'Select Service' with 4 options. PrePaid/PostPaid and GSM/GPRS. At the moment PostPaid is selected and it wont let me to change to PrePaid. I can change between GSM/GPRS, and GPRS is currently selected...

I'm not sure which options i really need in order to get MMS/Internet/E-Mail working again because i dont think they are working as they are suposed to anyway. Sites never really loaded up even though you can find pictures on the internet with them sites working :(

Any help would be appreciated cheers,
Skillz

Hi

Read wiki...
You'll learn there how to use xda-developers tools to get detailed information about your device.

Then determine which update is best for you (also in wiki)
