I have an XDAIIi from O2 with a standard ROM (no changes made).
It keeps freezing up when trying to do two things at once -
For example - running TomTom (3) and receiving a call, or - using the phone whilst another program is open.
It will simply freeze - no buttons will be active and touchscreen inactive. The green LED keeps flashing normally though.
A soft reset always seems to bring it back to normal.
Anyone have any ideas?

you need to get a faster sd card this is a known problem on the 2i
buy a transcend 80x card and you will be fine ...but it must be 80x, has been found to work well

ive had a few freezes recently when I've just been ending a call, when i press the red hardware end call button, the thing just freezes (not always, but getting more often). do you think this could be the same issue? I don't run tomtom (i do run destinator), but i do have a 1gb standard speed sd card. do you think it could be the same thing?

Same problem here with Qtek2020i. Pressing the red button (end call) sometimes cause the pda freeze. The SD is TwinMos Ultra-X 1GB.

Yes it is - I have the same thing and I don't have tomtom either. seems to be a remarkably common problem and I think we should all contact O2 for refunds on our replacement SD cards - clearly the SD slot doesn't meet the SD specifications or we wouldn't be having these problems...
