is the o2 exec locked for o2 uk simcards or not?

SOme people say you can only use 02 simcards, some say they can easily use other simcards?

I bought mine from the O2 online shop and had it delivered mid last week.

I can't speak for everyone but mine is definately unlocked as i'm using my work Voda SIM in it 8)
