ActiveSync & Outlook 2002

Why is it ActiveSync 4.0 or 4.1 works only with Outlook 2002 an dnot 2003? Any further update expected? I mean it was such a jump from ActiveSync 3.8 to 4.1, yet it sync with an old version :shock:

I'm afraid it works fine for me. I have Outlook 2000 SP3 at work, and Outlook 2003 SP1 at home, and I'm happily syncing my JasJar with both with no problems yet. I think I'm still using a very old beta release of ActiveSync 4 at home (can't check at the moment) but I don't see why that should work better than the latest version?

I would suggest uninstalling / re-installing etc, etc, but I'm assume you've been through the obvious?

Thanks sub69. I have tried uninstalling Outlook 2002 and reinstalled 2003. It worked with no diffeculty.
