HELP: Error country when trying to upt. FR BA to ENG. ROM

I bought a BA (QTEK) in France in second hand. It has a freench rom (v. 1.12.20FRE).
Now I want to put a English updated rom in it. I tryed and I got a "country error" the exact message is "ERROR 120: COUNTRY ID ERROR"
How to bypass this issue? Thank you all
